Asymmetrical Symmetry in Turquoise

I found these unusual turquoise beads recently, and bought two strands of them.

The beads are square, and drilled diagonally at an angle so that the beads overlap slightly when strung together. 

The look is simply elegant. 

This bracelet has one strand of the square turquoise beads, and the other strand is a handmade sterling-silver chain that I found in an antique shop. I put the charm--a vintage sterling sombrero--near the clasp rather than in the middle of the bracelet because I didn't want to break up the line of the overlapping square beads. 

The sterling clasp is a figure 8, which echoes the design of the chain.
